Paul Harrison

Yesterday Holme Rovers lost a key member of its team in Paul Harrison who has served our club so loyally and in so many different ways over the past 5 decades.
This all started from Paul helping his dad Bob marking out pitch lines and from this Paul at some point has held every key position within our club. Nearly every Sunday Paul was down at the Playing Field finding something to do, as in cutting grass, cleaning changing rooms, painting and so on. Paul and I shared many a time working out how we could overcome problems that came our way in running the club one of them been ‘’mother nature’’ just recently Chaffer Grubs, Crows and a few years ago the dreaded rabbits! All this has gone a long way in allowing the club to grow especially over the last few years with our Junior Section.
It goes without saying he will be sorely missed but not forgotten, he will live on in the club through his son and two of his grandchildren playing and training with Holme Rovers.
Our thoughts and well wishes go to his wife Karen and all Pauls family.
